Plantation Palms Golf Club

In December 2000, Land O' Lakes Florida became home to a great course with the look and condition of an upscale private club. It has since gained a reputation as one of the very best courses in West Central Florida. Just 10 minutes north of Tee Times USA's North Tampa hotels, Plantation Palms is fair but challenging. Golf course architect David Harman, who also designed the award-winning Panther Lake and Crooked Cat Courses at well known Orange County National, carved this masterpiece from a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes on many holes. The course quietly starts with a welcoming, 561-yard (from the back tees) par 5, then slowly steps it up with a mixture of adult-strength par 3's, elevation shifts and the attractive framing of greens with the use of pine trees, water and large, snow-white sand bunkers. The true-rolling, elevated greens have good movement and are a delight to even the most discriminating golfer. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes.

Fox Hollow Golf Club

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., this extraordinary golf course with large, rolling greens has a true resort feel from start to finish. Beautifully manicured greens and fairways in top condition complement the wide variety of hole designs that range from various links style holes to the tight, tree-lined fairways of holes 3 and 11. Sea Dwarf Paspalum state-of-the-art greens offer the fastest and smoothest putting surfaces in the area. There are 76 large bunkers throughout the course. Water comes into play on virtually every hole on the back nine - less water on the front. The clubhouse overlooks four holes, including the 18th. Come early and enjoy the very nice, state-of-the-art practice facility.
